Three tenants have signed leases at The Shoppes At Shipley's Grant, the $10 million retail center in Howard County, MD located along the Columbia/Ellicott City border.
Now open, Royal Cleaners operates a 1,449-square-foot dry cleaning store, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Opening in early 2011 will be Venus Spa, a 3,229-square-foot nail care salon and spa for men and women, and East Moon Asian Bistro, a 4,154-square-foot Asian fusion and sushi restaurant.
Michael Patz, a principal of KLNB Retail, handles the leasing of The Shoppes at Shipley's Grant with colleagues Ryan Minnehan and Andy Feldman. The center is owned by Bavar Properties Group.
Located on Route 108 at a new signalized intersection west of the Snowden River Parkway/Rte. 100 interchange, the project is situated at the main entrance to Shipley's Grant, the 396-garage townhome community under development by Bozzuto Homes.
Designed to resemble Georgetown and historic Ellicott City, The Shoppes at Shipley's Grant comprises multi-colored brick buildings with large arches, trellises, colorful awnings, well-lit exterior eating spaces and hardscapes with varying pavers and colors.
In addition to Royal Cleaners, merchants currently open for business at The Shoppes at Shipley's Grant include Starbuck's, Cold Stone Creamery, Coal Fire Pizza and The Wine Seller. Overall, the project will contain 24,400 square feet of inline retail space - with spaces ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 square feet, plus a free-standing bank pad for lease.
