YWGC Opens Severn Office to Service BRAC Relocations

Yerman Witman Gaines and Conklin Realty, LLC (YWGC), the residential real estate brokerage division of The Strata Group, has entered the Anne Arundel County marketplace with the opening of its inaugural full-service location within the Severn Square Shopping Center.
Approximately 50 Realtors are expected to staff the Baltimore-Washington Corridor region from this office positioned at 2622 Annapolis Road in Severn. Joanne Poole, past President of the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors and the Maryland Association of Realtors, as well as past recipient of the Realtor of the Year for Anne Arundel County, has been selected as Branch Manager for the new Severn Square office.
According to research presented to Anne Arundel County, more than 5000 jobs are expected to be transferred to the Fort George G. Meade campus during a six-year period stretching from 2010 to 2015. A total of more than 16,000 new jobs are predicted to be created due to secondary needs servicing this influx, including defense contracting employees and the addition of workers for retail and general business requirements. Housing demand is expected to impact nearly 10,000 households.
With the opening of YWGC's full-service brokerage office within The Offices at McHenry Row this spring, the company now operates eight different locations throughout the Central Maryland region. The company is also scouting locations to establish future offices in the Maryland area.
