Maryland Live! Tops Off

A celebratory "topping off" of the $500 million Maryland Live! casino was held this week at Arundel Mills. Dignitaries signed the final steel beam for the structure of the casino and it was hoisted into place.
The project will be completed in June.
Signing the beam, from right to left, is: Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, Cordish Company President David Cordish, County Executive John Leopold, Cordish President of Gaming and Lodging Joe Weinberg, Commercial Interiors CEO Kevin Johnson and TN Ward Contractors CEO David Panichi.
