Clemson Corner in Frederick, MD Sells to JP Morgan Asset Management

Charlotte-based Faison and Baltimore-based Atapco Properties, Inc. have sold their joint venture, Clemson Corner, a Wegmans-anchored regional/community shopping center located at the intersection of US 15 and MD 26 in Frederick, MD, to institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Faison will continue to manage the 362,000 square foot property on JP Morgan's behalf.
Bill Kent of CBRE and David Lampke from Faison brokered the transaction. Financials were not immediately available.
In addition to Wegmans, Clemson Corner also features Lowe's, Marshalls, Wells Fargo, Game Stop, Cellular Connection, Massage Envy, UPS, Mattress Discounters, My Eye Dr, Sprint, The Bicycle Escape, Music and Arts, Portrait Innovation, SportClips, Frederick Wine and Liquor, Bubbles, Soft Touch Nail Spa, Wild Birds Unlimited, and Kopit Dental, among other retailers. Clemson Corner is also home to several noteworthy regional and national restaurants including Chipotle, Coal Fire Pizza, Taste of Asia, Jasper's American Grille, Elevation Burger, and Yogi Castle.
